CANCHANCHARA RECIPE

A traditional drink from Trinidad, Cuba

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 ounces white rum
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 ½ ounces Seltzer water
  • ice

Supplies:

  • Pitcher
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Citrus juicer (optional)
  • Ceramic cup or low ball glass
  • Straw or stirring stick

Instructions:

  1. Add the honey to your cup and swirl it around so the bottom and some of the sides are well coated
  2. Pour in the rum, lime (or lemon juice), and seltzer water
  3. Add ice
  4. Serve with a straw & Enjoy!
